As we mark the second year of the Al-Aqsa Flood, the call for justice for Palestine rings louder than ever. Israel and its imperialist backers—most notably the US—must be held accountable for the genocide of Palestinians and the ecocide of their land, which has culminated in a deliberate famine across the entire Gaza Strip.
We join the world in the staunch condemnation of the US-Israel occupation and genocide that is starving the West Bank and Gaza to catastrophic heights. The mere fact that this war drove an entire population to famine in less than a year is an utterly unacceptable violation of international humanitarian law. These war criminals must not be allowed to enjoy impunity, nor can the aggressor be given recognition as a legitimate state.
From the uprooting of olive trees and the bulldozing of crops to the outright shooting of starving Palestinians seeking aid—as they are systematically concentrated in the south of Gaza—the sheer inhumanity of the US-Israel war crimes demands an equally grave consequence.
Therefore, the People’s Coalition on Food Sovereignty (PCFS), alongside the International League of Peoples’ Struggle and the International Peoples’ Front, is committed to co-organize the International People’s Tribunal on the US-Backed Zionist Occupation’s War of Forced Starvation and Ecocide in Palestine, happening in Barcelona, Spain from November 22 to 23, 2025. This Tribunal is a concrete initiative to hold the US and Israel to account, urging intergovernmental bodies and their member states to compel Israel to immediately cease its atrocities and accept full legal responsibility.
We call on the international community and all who stand with Palestine to support and endorse this Tribunal as our collective form of exacting accountability from the Zionist settler colony and its imperialist sponsors, and as an extension of our unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and their resistance against the Zionist genocide, ecocide, and occupation.
We cannot wait. Justice delayed is justice denied—and for Palestine, the time for accountability is now. ###
